  1. It was a hot day in the old western town of Mineville. Anne Hathaway wiped the sweat off of her forehead. She was on her normal walk through town, greeting everyone along the way, as she normally did. Everyone loved Anne in that town, she was a constant in all of their lives. As the sheriff, it was her job to make everyone happy, and she succeeded.

On this day, however, there was an outlaw lurking around. Gunshot was heard from around the corner. Anne raced around, hands on her pistols, to find the culprit. It was none other than Hugh Jackman. Only she knew him by this name though, his outlaw alias was Huge-Jacked Man.

“Jacked Man!” she scowled. He turned to face her, letting the woman he was holding go free.

    “Hathaway,” he hissed back.

“I thought I told you never to come back here, Hugh!”

“That ain’t my name, miss. And I don’t take orders from the likes of you!”

“That’s it, Hugh. Today, high noon, we settle this! Once and for all!” The gathering crowd of townspeople gasped. Hugh Jackman snarled at her.

“You got it, Annie,” he said, spitting on the ground. He turned to walk away, laughing to himself.

Anne rushed home. She had to prepare for the big showdown that she almost couldn’t believe that she herself suggested. Hugh Jackman was a huge, jacked man! And she was just a woman.

    No.

She was not just a woman. She was Anne Hathaway! Anne Hathaway, dammit! And Anne Hathaway does not lose a showdown to the likes of HIM!

She burst into her house, and slipped on her big pair of leather boots. She also picked up bigger pistols, and her cast iron holster for them. She clipped them to her belt. Next, she tore the sleeves off of her shirt, so she would be able to freely move her arms. She tied up her hair, and was ready to go. It was almost high noon.

When she got there, it was a minute early, and a crowd had gathered. Hugh Jackman was boasting to the crown, getting them riled up. They seemed terrified of him. He was a famous outlaw, and had got away with many a robbery and even more murders. He was only captured once, but Anne had left him out in the desert to die. Somehow, he had managed to bounce back.

As she approached him, he started to speak.

    “Aww look! Here comes-”

“Shut up, Jacked Man. We’re here for one thing only and you know it.”

He smirked and nodded. They stood back to back, and someone in the crowd counted out the paces.

    “One...two...three…”

It was hot. Anne again wiped the sweat from her forehead.

    “Nine...ten...eleven…”

Hugh smirked, but shook in his boots.

    “Seventeen...eighteen...nineteen…”

    Both of them stiffened.

    “Twenty!”

A loud bang echoed for miles, and the crowd was silent. Both of them stood still for a second. Then, a body hit the ground.

She walked down the town looking for any sign of life, even just a silent intake of a small insect. However, there was nothing, nothing at all. It was a (420) blazing hot day in Texas. Sakura walked up to a saloon and kicked down the door with a mighty “cha”. She had hoped that inside would be some people who had come to get drunk but alas, there was not even anyone in the saloon. She sat down at a stool next to the counter and took her revolver out. She took out all the bullets and put only one back in and spun the chamber before closing it. She had decided that since she had no food, water, or anyone to talk to or help he, she would kill herself. As a child and even as a teen she had always relied on her two friends Naruto and Sasuke to do everything for her. But several day ago all three of them had been captured and Sakura was only able to get away by cutting her hair which the bandits had suppressed her by grabbing (this was not the first time she cut her hair to escape a capture). When she had cut her hair she ran and ended up in this ghost town, that no one seemed to have lived in since 100 years ago (probably because it was in the middle of a desert).
Sakura started her Russian Roulette. She pulled the trigger the first time and heard a loud click. She thought about how she could never do anything herself and always relied on her comrades. She pulled the trigger a second time, but another click sounded into the silent, dry air. Even when Sasuke had run away she didn’t, ney, couldn’t do anything and had Naruto track him down and bring him back. Right when she was about to pull the trigger a third time she heard a noise. A person she thought. No, probably just a lizard or a snake she decided. But then she saw a shadow moving closer to the swinging doors that were the entrance to the saloon. At first she was excited and thought it was Sasuke, who she loved to no end, but then she got scared and thought it may be the cowboys who tracked her down and were going to take her then rape and kill her. She put the gun back to her and and pulled the trigger.
However, right before the gun shot a man in an orange and black sweater and orange pants punched ran up and punched her hand. Sakura dropped the gun and it shot loudly, the bullet speeding into the wall and busting an inch wide hole right through it. As soon as she saw the orange clothes she started crying. It was Naruto, who even in 90 degree weather wore his signature orange and black sweater. She threw her arms around him, happy to see another person in this abandoned town, and especially glad it was Naruto. She saw the look in his eyes of true love, he had loved her for many years, but she loved Sasuke even though he didn’t love her back. “How are you here?” Sakura cried.
“I escaped from the bandits when they were taking a piss and stole some water and followed your footsteps. Speaking of which are you thirsty?” Naruto asked.
Sakura took some water then asked, “Where’s Sasuke, he didn’t escape with you,”.
Naruto saw her smile fade, he knew she loved Sasuke, but he would still do anything in an effort for her to love him. He held her close and stared into her eyes. “We will find him okay. I tracked him down once, I can do it again,” Naruto assured her. “Now i think the first thing we need to do is get out of this ghost town,” Naruto stated. He walked back outside and looked around. There was nothing, everything was still, stuck in their places as though glued there. Sakura walked and stood next to him. They stood there, together. Several minutes ago Sakura was ready to kill herself because she was aloine and helpless in a forgotten town, but Naruto always managed to give her new hope. So now together they would find a way out, and back to Sasuke.

  3. “I feel like I should have some cowgirl boots and a revolver,” Jenn laughs as she wanders through the ghost town with Matt. They had somehow managed to get separated from everyone else. She pulls Matt up a few wooden stairs and through a small set of swinging doors. “This must’ve been the saloon,” she exclaims, wide-eyed, “Imagine all of the lives that lived here, revolving their world around this building.”

Matt shrugs, “Those are some pretty sad lives if they revolved around a bar.”

“It’s more than just a bar,” Jenn defends, clearly offended, “This was the main social gathering place. And, besides, something important here happened.”

Matt picks up an overturned, rotting table, “And how do you gather that?”

Jenn picks up a matching chair and dares to sit, “I can just feel it.”

Matt continues through the ancient building, occasionally picking things up and examining them. There are a couple glasses with dried, red smudges. Some weathered playing cards and dice. But as he nears the bar, a horribly pungent smell gets worse and worse. When he’s standing right in front of the bar, he swears that his nose hairs are burning. After he peeks at the other side, he just can;t stop himself from vomiting.

“Matt! What’s wrong?” Jenn shoots out of her termite-infested chair, “Oh my god, what is that smell?!”

All Matt can manage to do is point. Jenn walks over to the bar, cautiously, and moves over to face the back of it. The smell brings tears to her eyes but the sight brings sobs. Dusty skeletons of every size, piled on top of each other. Their clothes are in rags, ripped and torn in places. The slack in the jaws gives the skull the impression of screams. The sobs take over Jenn and she can’t breath.

“How could someone do this!?” She screams in between sobs,” How could they just hide these people like they were dust under a rug!?”

Matt holds her by the shoulders, “Hon, let’s go. This place is a ghost town and now we know why.”

Jenn stumbles out of the saloon, with Matt’s help, and into the blaring sun. Her sobbing lessens but tears still stream down her face. “I just don’t understand, why hasn’t anyone come to put these bodies to rest?” Matt doesn’t have an answer but the gears start turning in Jenn’s head, “I know!” She wipes the tears and sweat from her face, “Let’s find the others and then bury the bodies together. This is the old west! There has to be mining tools somewhere.”

Matt doubts that they’ll find any shovels but agrees anyway; anything to keep those tears away. They continue to circle the town until the sun starts to set and still no sign of their friends.
“Jenn, maybe instead of handling dead bodies, we should go,” Matt suggests.

Jenn turns and faces him, “I’m not leaving until we find them and bury those bodies,” the symbolic foot is down.

“They probably already left. We’ve been through this town at least three times,” Matt pleads, “And it’s getting dark.”

Before Jenn could argue, they are interrupted by a piercing scream. Jenn kicks dirt before Matt can ask any questions. She doesn’t stop running until her feet practically go through the steps to the saloon. Without any hesitation, Jenn walks into the saloon and can’t believe her eyes. All of the tables and chairs are upright; still rotting and old, but upright. Even the stage that was previously collapsed, and invisible, is put back together with an organ resting on top. Then the organ begins to play and sends chills up her spine.

Something pushes her towards the bar and she walks to it willingly. Daringly, she peeks another peek behind the bar and see’s three more bodies...fresh. Their jaws dropped in screams. Then her jaw drops but it’s cut off by a thud as she falls to join her friends.

  4. There I was standing in a place I had never been before. It seemed to be a ghost town somewhere in the west. I remember falling asleep on the train but I didn’t remember ever getting off. I was starting to freak up because I didn’t see anyone around me just tumbleweed passing by under the blazing sun. I was getting pretty thirsty also and there was no water to be found since I was in the desert. There was a small one room church in the center of the town. I decided to walk in to see what I could find in there. I heard faint noises coming from the inside which was also kind of weird. I walked up to the down and pushed it in. The door was really heavy and stuck but I managed to push it open. Inside Taylor Swift was standing all alone in the room. I couldn’t believe that my idle was just standing in front of me in the absolute strangest place. She looked at me too with the same face of confusion. She asked me how I got there but I honestly didn’t have a clue. I just kind of ended up there i wanted to know how she got there and why.
She told me that she really didn’t remember. She was trying to find a private place where she could write some new songs without being bothered. She woke up and she was just here. I thought that was so weird nothing was making any sense. I still couldn’t believe who was standing in the room with me.
I looked in my pocket and found a train ticket that said I came from Chicago and Taylor had one too but either of us remember being in Chicago, it was so freaky. We decided to walk around the town to see if anyone was there. Next to the church was a small store that was the town's general store back in the day. We walked inside and the walls were covered in photos of the both of us when we got to the ghost town but there was no one there that could have taken them. We both frantically pulled the pictures off the walls and threw them on the ground. We then saw a flash coming from outside so we ran out to see where it came from. There was a ton of people standing outside and they told us that we were on a prank show that took celebrities and regular people and would prank them. We both started to laugh.
