  1. She stared at herself in the mirror for a long while. She remembered how she used to look back then, it was hard to see the old her now. She had no more braids and no more powers. She grabbed her books and walked to class. The memories were starting to slip away the older she got. After class she walked back to her dorm and laid on her bed trying to think back to when her family would travel all over Africa, it felt so long ago. She missed Darwin most of all now, he was her best friend but also a monkey, he was the only one that she could talk to. After she lost her powers that was the hardest thing, not being about to talk to him. No one could understand Eliza’s situation, everyone thought that she was crazy until she pretended that it never happened. She had to act like the most amazing thing that ever happened to her never existed. She had to believe it just to get through the days. After her parents died she didn’t have anyone. Her sister never liked her and once their parents died Debbie moved far away and never tried to help Eliza adjust to the “real world” nothing was the same for Eliza. When she started back in school she had a hard time at first but once she started to get used to things it became easy she learned a lot about the world from living in Africa and from all the animals. She had a very hard time making friends, she couldn’t relate to the other kids at school. It was hard for Eliza to do things without Darwin. He made her childhood great he was always there for her when she was alone. Elzia has gotten better but there are days like today when she has to reminisce and it hurts, She never wants to forget, it made her the person she is and she is grateful for the gift that she had even if it didn’t last for as long as she would have liked it to.

When she went to college she wanted to go far away where no one has heard of her or knows anything about her past. She wanted to meet new people and let them see if they wanted to be friends. Eliza wanted to be an animal researcher because she already knew so much that she has good insight. She wanted to travel the world and she all of the animals that she hadn’t meet. It was the only job she could ever see herself having. She would also be following in her parents footsteps. That was always her goal in life and of course to make them proud. From time to time she wondered what her sister was doing. she always pictured that she was in so punk rock band and living her dream. She was always so simple minded and didn’t really have high ups in life. But as long as she’s happy Eliza would say. She would even think about poor Darwin she felt so bad for him but she had to leave him behind it was just too painful to see him all the time and be unable to talk to him. Life was very different now for everyone and it made Eliza so sad.

  2. “John, John, John, John, John… JOHN!” Movement of silence becomes afoot.
“Good Morning Master chief Petty officer of the Navy John-117 The time is now 2:32 A.M! The day is February 25- Is everything okay? Medical treatment is ready when needed, your heart rate has reached 110, after it passes 150 medical attention will be forced, please remain calm and control your heart rate.” A piercing blue light is being emitted and stands a holographic female. A few meters away within the dark, a dark figure is emitted, sitting on a lowly bed, the figure turns toward the wall and lays back down. It still becomes silent, but echoes are heard within the background.
“John… CHIEF! Get up!” His eyes open again, but he is no longer in the dark. Looking around to readjust to the setting, he is aboard Didacts ship. Still confused, he plays along, ready for a fight he stands up and looks around his surroundings, curious to why he is back on board he lurks about in the shadows, finding his way to the command. After endless hallways and empty rooms, he concludes he is alone on the ship.
“Turn arouund…” A whisper is heard, John turns around and an energy sword flashes next to him. A bit rusty on his skills, he dodges the stab recklessly, lands on a lower bridge, and looks up to await a figure to appear.
Finally, a stump appears over the bridge, two red eyes are seen that cross right over the edge, and they creep back down. Unknowing the opposing threats strength, John slides back up on his feet and makes a run toward the nearest exit. As the exit door opens John is fastly pulled out of the ship, the exit door was a trap to a vacuum which lead him out of the ship and John’s life flashed before his eyes. He now wakes and sits again, in the same room as before.
“Good Morning Master chief Petty officer of the Navy John-117 The time is now 2:42 A.M! The day is February 25- Is everything okay? Medical treatment is ready when needed, your heart rate has reached 115, after it passes 150 medical attention will be forced, please remain calm and control your heart rate.”
Again, wondering the end to the story, John lays back down, and falls asleep. “Chief!” John wakes again, only this time, he is aboard Infinity. An echo is heard from one side of the hallway, but as John looks toward the direction, he finds the same set of eyes glowing in the depth. Looking around for a weapon, John finds a shotgun with only two bullets. Unable to face the unknown figure, John prepares himself.
“You...will not...make it.” A dreadful whisper is heard by the same voice. John loses his confidence and shoots a shell, and runs in the other direction. The enemy, afflicted and serving minor damage is now chasing him, slowly the beat of the heavy thumps become louder and faster. The end of the corridor is lit with candles, but the exit is locked. John turns around, looking toward the enemy, aims the last shell. The repeated words are now going through his head again.
“John, John, John.” Losing his mind, John aims the shell toward his head. The thumps become louder and are noticeably closer, John begins to ready the trigger. Suddenly the footsteps stop, only meters away from him, the figure is still hiding behind the dark, and the figure throws an energy sword at Johns feet.
John awakes again, sweating and tired, his pistol is aimed below his jaw.
“Good Morning Master chief Petty officer of the Navy John-117 The time is now 3:36 A.M! The day is February 25- Is everything okay? Medical treatment is ready when needed, your heart rate has reached 117 after it passes 150 medical attention will be forced, please remain calm and control your heart rate.”

  3. There was a shroud of darkness over what appeared to be a valley. The sound of fire crackling and tree branches snapping could be heard, however, nothing could be seen. “That fool samurai has not returned in over 20 years now..” Said a booming, ominous voice. “.. Perhaps, while my gaze was elsewhere, he finally perished..” The booming voice uttered a chuckle, which then turned into a boisterous laughter. The dark mist quickly subsided, and the scene unraveled. An entire japanese, obliterated, with fires breaking out all around. In the center of the village was a gigantic, black, shadowy figure. “Now that that fool samurai, Jack, is gone, there are NONE who can oppose me: Aku, the shapeshifting master of Evil!” Aku laughed, opening his arms out wide, unleashing a torrent of unholy, evil creatures.
Elsewhere, in a grey, desolate desert, a lone man walked. This man was visibly old, with a large, greying beard and hair, and wrinkles all around him. Along with this, he wore a golden crown, was dressed in a toga, and carried with him an assortment of weapons. Far off in the distance, in the direction this man was heading, was a large tower, made of a black metal, surrounded by tons of scrap metal. “Today… today, I return to end his reign… I return to save not only my people, but the rest of the world...” Said the aged man. He continued to walk, until he stopped. The ground began to quake, and, in the distance, he could see an entire army of what appeared to be robots. All the robots were wearing straw hats and ragged, torn capes. They were all wielding either samurai swords, carrying ninja stars and guns, and flamethrowers. “I knew it wouldnt be easy returning to this place… but I expected more of a challenge…” The man smiled, and started to sprint head first into the army, unseathing his own samurai sword.

  4. The Teen Titans have just gotten home from another fight. They had done it again, saved West Coast City from the Brotherhood. Starfire and Cyborg are in the kitchen devouring whatever they could fit into their mouths. Raven went to her room as soon as they got back, without a word. Naturally, Beast Boy is outside her door, trying to coax her out with food. Robin laughs to himself, silently, as he passes by. He can’t kick the feeling that the fight was too easy. Slade has to have bigger plans than just a simple attempt at kidnappings. The Brotherhood was going to take all of the children of W.C.C, but the moment the Teen Titans showed up, they just scattered. Robin switches on the light in the training room. He goes to his table and picks up a few throwing stars. Robin throws the first couple without much behind them, but they hit their target anyway. The more he thinks about Slade, the harder and harder his throws become. Before he knows it, he’s out of stars. Instead of walking over and retrieving them, he pounds the wall closest to him.

He doesn’t stop until his fists are bloody and Starfire’s voice shakes with concern, “Robin? What is the matter?” Robin’s arms slump to his side and his chest is heaving up and down. He lets his head hang for only a second before gathering himself.
“Nothing, Star, just got frustrated with my training. I kept missing,” after the short lie, he exits before she can ask anymore questions.

Cyborg was able to pull Beast Boy away from Raven’s door in order for some video games. He pouted at first but was punching the buttons in no time. Cyborg liked having him as game-buddy and he figured it would give Raven some peace of mind for a little bit. Cyborg had never really liked video games before his accident. After his recovery, he didn’t like doing much of anything. If it hadn’t been for Beast Boy, he would have never been this happy. Cyborg lands the winning punch and sends Beast Boy’s player off the cliff. “And the student becomes the teacher!” he sings triumphly as Beast Boy’s face hits his open hands. Just as he gets to the spinning part of his victory dance, Starfire comes flying in.
“There is something wrong with Robin,” her small voice informs them, eyes full of worry, “I found him punching the wall.”
Cyborg shrugs, “That’s not that unusual Star-”
“He lied about why he was doing it. Why would he lie?” She interrupts, determined to find an answer.

Starfire was gone before Beast Boy even had a chance to consider her question. Robin’s their leader, but that doesn’t mean he has to bear the weight of everything on his own. But that’s usually what he did. Beast Boy looks at Cyborg and they share a look. It’s not that romantic kind of look but one that you could only ever share with your closest friend. It’s the look you share and know that you’re totally in sync with your thinking. After that look, the pair split up. Cyborg headed into the direction that Robin should be. Beast Boy? Where else would he go but to Raven?
She had been meditating ever since they got back. Something about the ‘fight’, made her uneasy. Meditating was the only way to keep her emotions, and her powers, in check. Having Beast Boy repeatedly bang on her door is distracting, but it is nice having someone who cares around.
