Write a 200 word piece about what song you would choose if you could have a song played to announce your presence every time you walked into a room. Explain the reasons behind your choice. How does the song serve as a proper representation of you?
If a song were to play each time I was to walk into a room it would be Make it Stop (September’s Children) by Rise Against. I find the song to be an amazing piece of work; it is about the suicides of gay teenagers for being persecuted and driven to the point to kill themselves. If only one part of it were to play though, it would be the second verse, not the chorus though. I find the lines in it to be the perfect message. “Bang, bang from the closet walls from the school house halls the shot gun’s loaded. Push me and I’ll push back. I’m done asking, I demand from a nation under god I feel its love like a cattle prod. I’m born free but still they hate, upon me no I can’t change. It’s always darkest just before the dawn. So stay awake with me lets prove them wrong.” That verse speaks so many truths about the country we live in today. We are told that all men are equal and should be treated as such, but that is not what happens in this day and age. This song would not only be for my enjoyment, but to possibly send a message to everyone who hears it. The song does not just need to be taken as don’t persecute gay people, but don’t persecute anyone for who they are or what they believe in.
If I walk in a room and I need a song to play when I walk in I would chose Rick Ross. The song that I chose is niggas can't hold me back. I chose this song because Rick Ross is just Rick Ross. The lyrics would go with me and the walk I would walk. Gtta have that lean walk with it. I have a lot of hatred and That song would just fit in with me. Me with nice cloths and a SnapBack just walk in the room holding my middle finger up for them haters. Man that would fell nice to just walk in. This song is just get people to dance and I'm that type of a guy that likes to dance, I'm full of energy. I'm always happy and ready to do anything. The song fits me because nothing can hold me back. Just like fat boy says they can't hold me back. I'm too strong for anyone to hold me back I reach for the moon not the stars. So know me when I walk in it's the prince coming through the building. niggas can't hold me back ughhhhhhhhhhh(Ro$$ voice)
If I could choose the song that played every time I walked into a room, it’d be the 1967 Spiderman theme song. My brother and I make fun of all the weird errors that happen throughout every episode. We’ve had a bunch of laughs just by watching the opening of the show. I want to have that song play whenever I walk into a room so that my brother and I can continue laughing and sharing good times. I also think that it might fit me a bit. I’m more old-fashioned than most people my age, so of course I’d want an old song to be my theme. I also am very strange and childish. Spiderman ’67 is an odd show for kids where Spiderman gets trapped in some peculiar situations. The whole show is weird, but I like it and the theme song since I’m weird as well. In addition, it always has a happy ending where the superhero, Spiderman, wins. I love superheroes; they defy normal human standards, and can somehow always win in a fight. I like it when there’s a happy ending, so that’s another reason I want this to be my theme song. This song can describe how I love old things, superheroes, making the people close to me laugh at my goofiness, and a nice ending.
If I could have any song announce my presence every time that I walked into a room, it would be “This Is The Life” by Two Door Cinema Club. This song has always been one of my favorites because of its simplicity yet upbeat, lighthearted tune. It expresses an effortless, carefree attitude towards life—an attitude I try to adopt every single day. Every day is a new day. Every day is a new start. We can all make change. Every time I walk in a room, I would like to fill people with the same relaxing, blissful feeling I get when I hear this song. Perhaps they would take a minute to slow down and enjoy life for what it is and what it has to offer. Every day is one that should not be forgotten or spent in sadness. This song reminds me to cherish the life’s sweet, little moments—the ones that happen all the time. The larger moments, although they are nice, makes us have high expectations that usually cannot be met all the time. This song is very catchy, yet its message is clear: “’Cause if this is the life . . . then who’d argue?”
If I could have a song that I could walk into a room with any song and I would play to announce my presence, it would have to be the James Bond theme song. I loved watching James Bond ever since I was a kid and I always loved the theme song to it, it is very announcing and it really shows a real presence to someone. It wouldn’t really be too fitting for me because I am not killing people and I’m not an assassin for the M16 organization. But I would love to walk into a room and the theme song of James Bond, people would look at me and think that I was James Bond. But if I did walk into the theme song then I would have to carry a gun with me, and I would have to kill bad people and be one of the “double 0’s” and the “double 0’s” die very fast, but I wouldn’t mind to die quickly if I was like James bond. If I was in the UFC and I could walk out to a song, it would most likely be the James Bond theme song. And my name would be “Jon Bond Zeloof”
If I was to have a theme song that would play every time I walked in the room it would be Eye of the Tiger. The Eye of the tiger theme song is one of the most iconic songs of all time. It’s used in a number of movies such as rocky III and a few others. It was originally written for Sylvester Stallone’s movie Rocky III when he couldn’t get the rights to the usual song Another One Bites the Dust. It took off in popularity after that and it never looked back. You can hear it in many pump up mixes across America in every different sport. The song really gets peoples blood pumping. This song really goes with my personality of hot blooded and always hyper and in a good mood. Also this song gets people excited and pumped for whatever they are doing. This song is also a personal favorite of mine that I will listen to before games or just to hear a good song. Eye of the Tiger was one of the most popular rock songs of all time that swept through the charts on its way to number one.
I would not have a song played for me when I walk into a room. Whatever song I chose right now would only be because of my emotions and feelings right now. If I was happy right now then I would chose a very happy song like Happy Happy Joy Joy. However, I do chose that song and I am sad one day I wouldn’t want that song being played every single time I walk into a room.It would just get me depressed even more. Plus I don’t think a song could sum up someone’s life. A song wouldn’t be able to tell a life story so I wouldn’t need a song to be played when I walk into a room. I also wouldn’t want to annoy people when I do walk into a room. What if they didn’t want to listen to the song that I picked? They would just get really annoyed. And if multiple people are walking into a room at one time wouldn’t that mean there would be other songs playing then your own. It would just give everyone else in the room a major head ache so why bother playing a song.
Richie steps inside the dark shed with hesitation. He looks around in awe. I suppose he was surprised that his wild little sister was actually as “crazy” as everyone claimed her to be. He looked at me with a questioning face. I could tell he didn’t quite understand what was going on. “See, no dead bodies.” I said softly, joking around. “THIS is what you do? I thought you were like, dropping Mentos into cola and playing with little firecrackers. Lizzie… this is serious stuff in here!” “Well I mean, I make most of my own stuff.” “How do you even know how? I mean you’re no A+ student.” “Some of us don’t need to be book smart, you know. It’s not everything. But nobody in our family would understand that.” I could see his heart sink as he realized the disappointment everyone had been putting into me was under false pretenses. Nobody knew that I, Lizzie Marconey, could actually be some sort of genius. But I wouldn’t claim that title. “Now cmon, grab that barrel and meet me in the field. You’ll find it the spot, you’re smart.” I patted him on the back in a sort of condescending way, grabbed some empty firework shells and sprinted out to the field.
If I was given the opportunity to have a song signal my arrival every time I walked into a room, I would choose "King for a Day" by Pierce the Veil. This song is the epitome of going against the status quo and that sounds good right now. It would most certainly not sum up a big part of me, but in the mundane schedule of the school year, tearing shit up sounds good. The song takes the perspective of a normal guy with a normal job and a demanding boss. During one of his normal days, he says "fuck it" and decides to stop dealing with the bullshit that is his life. At this point, I'm all for spicing up my life a little. "Imagine living like a king one day," is a lyric in the chorus, and imagining that is nice. Having unlimited wealth and power would be a complete change to what my life is now, so I would want everyone in the room to know what. This masterpiece of a song represents that I want a revolution in my life, one that leads me towards substantial change with utter happiness and triumph over the normal people that I encounter every day.
INDEPENDENT STUDY ASSIGNMENT King Dracon would be strong. And so Jordan would have to be. They continued on the path, and Jordan took in the surroundings like a breath of fresh air. He realized that this could all be a dream, and that he could wake up at any moment back in his bed in his own world, but he decided that he didn’t care. He would enjoy this world, which was as real to him now as the orphanage he’d lived in for all those years. And, though Jordan never had wanted to be king, he felt himself slowly taking up the mantle of his character. He created this world, he knew how it worked, and he could rule it. He could be the benevolent monarch that King Dracon was designed to be. The company walked in silence, and Jordan recalled the beginnings of Dracon. Not his beginnings in this world, but his beginnings in Jordan’s own. Jordan remembered that, when he was much younger, he and his cousin went to the same church. One day, the teacher presented a lesson on King Josiah. Josiah was only eight when he became king, but he was strong in the Lord and did not fall to the corrupting nature of royalty.
One song I would listen that would be my entrance of anything is the weekend the morning. This song really reflects me and who I am. It talks about how love is and how you basically make your money and the motives and obstacles you will have to face in your everyday life to get where you want to be no matter who is there and who is trying to stop you. Also this song means a lot to me because it is basically talking about who I really am it defines me really. No one in this school knows who I really am but only a certain amount of people and I have a small circle of people that I can truly trust and know that they will be there no matter what. My circle is the same with no new people in them. This song talks also about love and the types of love that are out there especially gold diggers, and how girls can break your right in an instant or on how they could make your day in a blink of an eye. My personal life I keep it to myself no one has to know who I am besides people that actually cares about me this song for me talks about how I know how im doing and no matter what people think I’m still doing me.
