"A Killer Assignment" Days 5 and 6 (Mon and Tues)

Days Five and Six: During the next two class periods of this assignment, you are to spend your time:
  1. Creating Scene 2. Thinking in cinematic fashion, write a one-page, typed, single-spaced, 12 pt Times New Roman narrative that describes the first killing. You have used the previous classes to establish your killer's identity, and to give the readers an indication of who the victim is. Today is the day to do some dirty work. This scene should focus on the killing, from start to finish. Remember that you are trying to create a scene that the reader can imagine as if he/she were watching it at the movies.
Hint: If you have previously revealed too much (or not given enough detail on the killer or victim) go back and edit - 1 page should focus on the killer only (background, motivation, style, appearance), 1 page on the victim (what kind of person they are? why are they chosen? should we feel sorry or glad that they die?), and 1 page is the killing(s).

  1. To the surprise of the group the hospital was well lit with candles spanning the hall ways and a few lights working. “I didn’t know this place still had power.” Chad stated opening one of the doors to reveal an empty room with a few blood stains on the floor. “Hey check this out.” He said waiving his hand as the group circled around him
“What is it?” asked Sam. Looking at the stain on the floor
“It’s dried blood the patient that was last here must’ve been a bleeder.” Rich said kneeling down next to the stain.
“That’s creepy,” said Bridget backing away from the doorway.
There was a soft crunching sound coming from end of the hallway behind the group. “Anyone else hear that?” Asked Amy as the entire group turned to investigate the sound.
“Yeah I hear it too, but I don’t see anything,” said Rich standing up from where he knelt. Then something shot down in from that direction. A long pole flew right past Chad and struck the wall behind him with a crash. Chad clutched his ear to feel his warm blood coat his hand and run down his neck.
“What was that?” Chad screamed in pain from the cut.
Then the shots started ringing. One after another BANG, BANG, BANG the rounds were striking the wall and the floor landing nowhere near the intended targets, which is exactly what James wanted. Unseen by the group James was moving closer to them as they ran for their lives after the first bullet struck the wall; James had a wicked grin on his face loving each and every moment of this chase.
The group ran for their lives trying not to fall or lose ground to this psychopath. Panting as they rounded a corner as more rounds snapped by their heads and struck the wall they stopped. “What is going on here?” Rich screamed panting checking for any wounds.
In front of him Rachel screamed at the top of her lungs as their killer dug his knife into Rich’s shoulder. He screamed out in pain as the group ran for their lives leaving him to the killer. He looked up at the man in all leather and asked, “Why are you doing this?”
He looked down at the kid as he turned white from the loss of blood and said in a low growl, “You encroached on my territory. It is only fitting that I kill you.” His voice was like that of a demon in the movies, low and guttural.
“Please don’t do this, I won’t tell anyone please just let me live. You don’t have to do this.” Rich said panicking and scooting back as quickly as he could on his back.
“I know I don’t have to do this, but now I want to.” James said lifting his foot stomping on Rich’s chest as he cried out in pain and dug his knife from Rich’s shoulder. He flipped over on to his stomach and tried to crawl away but James brought his foot down on Rich’s head and relished in the satisfying crunch it made. He wiped the blood on his boot off on Rich’s shirt and went in search for his next victim.

  2. Sean M had finally lured Mary back to the old running trail that he had his underground lair that he had built by himself for this purpose. The lair was about a half mile down the trail from the start. Sean M had talked calmly to Mary the whole time even though in his head his thoughts were racing as the anticipation of reaching the lair and getting Mary inside. The lair was right around the bend and Sean had switched to the other side of Mary so he could push her in the opening of the lair. However he realized that he had the left the door to the lair closed and he couldn’t just simply push her in. Sean had to think fast to get Mary to stop so he could get her in the lair. Sean quickly stopped and told Mary that he needed to stop and tie his shoe. Mary stopped and put her hands on her knees and began to catch her breath. As soon as she took her eyes off Sean he jumped into action. Sean grabbed a nearby tree branch and knocked Mary unconscious with one blow to the back of the head. Sean then walked over to the closed door and opened the lair. The ceiling of the lair was six feet underground from the surface. The walls were solid concrete that was eight feet thick in every direction. Sean had also put up three layers of sound proofing foam on all the walls. The room is twenty four feet long and twenty feet wide and the ground of the lair to the ceiling is 10 feet. There are only a few florescent lights in the bunker. In the middle of the room is an operating table that is complete with leather straps and metal clamps for hands and feet. The walls are filled with tolls and equipment that is used in hospitals for saving life, however Sean will be using them for the opposite reasons. After Sean had gotten Mary in the bunker he carried her over to the table in the middle of the room and strapped her down so she could no longer move. Sean then woke Mary up and she got her first look at Sean’s true nature.
“What are you doing?,” Mary screamed.
“You unfortunately remind me of my old baby sister who raped me when I was little,” said Sean.
“That has nothing to do with me,” pleaded Mary.
“It’s too late now,” Sean replied.
After Sean had got Mary down there her fate was sealed. Sean had already made up his mind Mary was never going to see the light of day again. After Sean killed the first victim all the others were even easier than the previous one. After killing Marry, Sean got all the nervous feelings out of his system. Everything was too easy for him now, he was truly a emotionless and cruel human being.

  3. Sheldon sat waiting behind a building the whole time while Frank was dealing to this guy. He went through all of his thought and decided if he really wanted to go through with this. He thought for two seconds and knew, his mind had been made up for years now and he was really thirsty to draw blood. He took a gun and a knife with him so he had a choice which way to kill him when the time came around. He was planning on using the gun mostly because that was how his parents were killed, but the knife would make a bigger mess and he thought that that would be pretty satisfying. He finally got the nerve to get out from behind the building and confront Frank. Sheldon walked casually towards Frank in the way that Frank would think that Sheldon was just here to buy drugs. They came face to face for the first time and Frank whispered.
    “How much you want?”
Sheldon said “a few dime bags”
As Frank turned around and reached into his jacket, Sheldon grabbed him by the neck and started to put him in a chokehold. Frank, surprised, gasped for air. His arms started to flail and his feet looked as if he was a sprinter running in place trying to escape. Sheldon then reached into his pocket with one hand while holding Frank by the neck with the other hand. Sheldon then pulled out a newly sharpened knife that glowed a bright orange over the street lights. Sheldon. He then placed the knife gently under Franks’ neck as he was still struggling and gasping for air. Sheldon then with one clean slice cut Frank’s neck as blood spewed like a water fountain from his neck. His body then became limp and there were no more struggles. Sheldon laid his body down on the cold asphalt ground as his hands were trembling. So much adrenaline was pumping through his body; he had never felt such a thrill like this before. He then politely walked away with blood dripping from his hands. He got out of the alley, looked back at the body, smiled, and walked away.

  5. I rolled over and looked up to see Josh standing over me. “Where’s Sarah?” I exclaimed. He didn’t answer, just continued to stare. “Where is she!” I shouted, and suddenly adrenaline pumped through me and jumped off the ground on top of him.
I had him pinned. “Where is she?!” I demanded. “Tell me where she is or I swear I’ll kill you!”
He looked up at me, there was a small grin on his face, but his expression was completely helpless. “Do it.” He whispered. “Then I’ll finally get her.” His grin spread farther across his face and he looked away from me. Instead he looked up at the sky.
Suddenly I didn’t know what to do. “Tell me where she is Josh!” My voice cracked, and my tone was less intimidating. He still didn’t look at me. I started to shake him. “Tell me where she is! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!”
Without looking at me he answered, “I killed her Evan. She’s gone.” He said this in a perfectly calm voice, as though he’d done nothing wrong.
I stopped in shock. I could my breath in front of me. I started breathing faster and faster. My thoughts were racing through my brain too fast for me to comprehend. Without knowing what I was doing I grabbed the palm sized rock next to me and hit him. I hit him again and again and again.
“Thank you,” he hissed, choking on his own blood.
“Agghhhhh!” I screamed in frustration and continued hitting him. I didn’t stop, I couldn’t stop.
My hand was covered in blood and his face was indistinguishable by the time I stopped hitting him. I pulled myself off of his limp body and threw the rock to the side. When I looked up from his mutilated face I saw her, ten feet away, lying on the ground, empty eyes staring at me.
I walked slowly to her side and knelt down beside her. I took her hand, and they felt like ice. She was lifeless, and her body was just sprawled out, but even in death, her face was the most beautiful thing I’d ever laid eyes on.
When Evan Johnson came to school the next day, he didn’t kill a single person, no one accept himself. He walked right into the school with his father’s rifle; he didn’t try to hide it. The school went into an immediate lockdown, and in the middle of the hallway, right where he’d first met her, he stuck the rifle into his mouth and pulled the trigger.

I am getting closer, I think I remember where it is now. Just a few more miles, and I’ll be there. I toy with the matches and cigarette lighter in my pocket, the hairs on my neck rising with excitement. I will finally burn the place where my life had been so treturous and sorrowful. I won’t go straight there though, there is a lot more business I had to take care of. I must dispose of my neighbors, since they too were a part of my childhood. I remember walking along the neighborhood, and a young woman smiling and waving at me as she left her house to go to work. I remember wishing to be her son, but of course, It never happened. Instead, I would have to walk back to my home, if you could call it that, where my mother would batter me at any place she felt necessary, and her mouth would move, but I never heard her. I’ve been deaf ever since I was four years old.
Now, the only thing I can hear are the voices in my head, and they are the only thing I hold onto. I never knew where they came from; I have only had them a few months. Nevertheless, it is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I cannot help believeing that the voices must come from God. The last time I heard these voices had been only a few minutes ago. “You can never destroy your own memories,” they had said. “unless you kill yourself.” That is what I will do after I am finnished with everything. They have inspired me to do what I am doing now, and I have found it almost theroputic. I was always angry inside, and I never knew how to express it; but the voices told me to do something useful in my life besides stayng in that terrible place my adoptive parents had taken me to, when my behavior worsened. They didn’t understand me at all; they thought they could help me by adopting me from the orphanage and caring for me, but they couldn’t understand me. Nobody does. That is what angers me so. I decided that my mission in life was to kill everyone I could think of. That way, there would be no people to judge me, or beat me. My world would be completely peaceful. After that, I will make sure I myself, am forever gone from the world.

  7. Erick and Joshua decided to meet up at the park where the little boy usually went to go play. Erick thought that this was going to be an interview and a couple of the people from the team there ready to tell him what to do. When they arrived Erick stood there with his parents looking around for Joshua. They finally spotted Joshua and Erick ran over to Joshua and hugged him. Joshua felt as if he felt something in the pit of his stomach that made him smile.
“Hello, your son looks like a fine baseball player. I need to go over some basic things with each of you and then you can leave and I will drive him to where the rest of the team is for he can try out.” Joshua said calmly.
The parents pulled aside and began to talk while Erick went off and began to explore. He went down to the ground began to play with a lily. This was probably going to be the last time that he was going to play with nature. He spent a few minutes looking up to the guy and he felt two wet kisses against his checks. He looked over and saw his parents right next to him. He got up and hugged them and went over to Joshua. He saw that Joshua was at his car holding out the passenger’s door. Erick looked back and waved at his parents. Joshua went and started up the car and drove off. The Doors was playing in the car.
“I need to pick up some equipment’s from my house and then we will go to the park.” Joshua whispered.
Erick sat in the car and looked around and the surroundings and little by little he began to fall asleep. Joshua looked over and reached over for a jacket in the back. He grabbed it and threw it over to Erick. Erick smiled at him and covered his body with it and turned and began to fall asleep. Joshua gave him a little sweet smile and began to look at the road.
He is such a cute little kid. I don’t want to kill him. I feel something inside bothering me and I don’t think I can follow through with it. His little curls remind me just like Carmen. I can smell him. He smells like fresh baked cookies. I think that this would be the best mixture with fresh blood. These are the last few minutes of him being alive. He better enjoy them while he can because I’m ready to turn his body inside out. His parents told me he was adopted and his father didn’t want him and his birthmother died while giving birth to him. This needs to be him. Joshua thought to himself.
He finally arrived to the house and unbuckled Erick and brought him into the house. He gently put him down on the table. He ran off and made sure what he had in the room was ready. When he came back he noticed that Erick was awake and he brought him over to the room. He put the boy on a chair. Erick began to giggle. Then he gently wrapped the rope on his neck. Joshua kissed his forehead and a tear went down his face. Erick looked at him as if he was crazy. Joshua ran over to the end of the rope and pulled it. Joshua looked at Erick’s face. His eyes were slowly coming out. A tingle came through Joshua’s body and he began to laugh. He held him for five minutes and dropped him to the ground. He then took out a knife and took out his insides slowly. The smell of fresh flesh invaded his nose and he enjoyed it. He spelled out some words with the insides of the body. It spelled YOUR WELCOME CARMEN!

  8. Now, I feel someone draw closer and closer to me, and I turn towards the pressure that I feel from that person, walking untill I bump right into her. I know she is a woman, from the way she felt when I walked into her. I reach up and grabb her by the neck, squeezing and twisting as hard as I can. I attempt to scream in anger, but of course, I hear nothing so instinctively, I scream louder. The woman tries to fight back, and take my hands off of her, but I have more strength. Dragging my victum down, I beat her, the exact way my mother did to me, but much worse. I shake her very hard, banging her head against the ground. With one hand, I make some blows in her stomach, her chest and her jaw. My other hand is wrapped around her throat, squeezing and twisting until, the bones in her neck break in my grasp.
Now, I can make sure she is dead. With both hands this time, I appli more blows in her stomach and lungs, untill I feel she is no longer breathing. Good. Now it is time to burn. Using all the strength I have, I carry the limp body inside the house, make my way upstairs to the attic and hide it deep within the room. Swiftly, but quietly, I run downstairs and make my way out the door. With my lighter, I light a match, which I set on the house. I wait until the fire grows larger and the flames start licking at the house. Then, I run the opposite direction as fast as lightning, feeling satisfied and accomplished.
Now, it is time to dispose of this life that has been given to me. I ponder and ponder for what I should do, but surprisingly, nothing comes. “You are so stupid and worthless!” a voice shouts. I realize in horror, that it is my mother’s voice. It had to be one of the only things I have heard, until the age of five. It hits me though, that she is right! If I want to kill myself, then I can just run back to my neighbors burning house and let the flames lick me to death. That Is what I do. I turn around and sprint to the welcome sent of the fire I have made, and jump into its deathly embrace. I scream in sheer pain, but the pain is good. I will indure it, and have a glorious afterlife. Everything will be wonderful. Suddenly, I feel an intense blow as the house falls to pieces all over me. There is pressure, pain, and then nothing.

  9. Click click click. The noise of Jade’s shoes was the only thing that echoed through the hallways. She shivered and hugged herself for warmth. The hallways that seemed so bright and normal now seemed eerie and barren. She felt eyes watching her as she walked. Stop it, she mentally chided herself. I’ve just been playing too much Slender© with Autumn. Making a mental note to force Autumn to stop playing Slender© in the middle of the night, Jade strode confidently down to the door marked, “Parking Garage”. Thinking about how long her mother has waited, Jade jogged into the parking garage.

The door banged shut behind her. Jade scanned the underground lot for her mother’s car, but it wasn’t there. Where was her mom? She said that she’d be here. Trying to keep her cool, Jade reasoned that her mother probably meant that she would be waiting at the front of the hospital. That made sense, no need to panic. Turning around, Jade came face to face with Annabelle’s cold gray eyes. Jade yelped and jumped back. How did she get there? Was she following me? Felt her heart pound as she realized that Annabelle stood between her and the exit.

Annabelle examined the cowering mouse before her. She was so weak, so why did Kyle love her? Annabelle narrowed her eyes. Her mother’s words whispered, ‘only the strong survive’. That’s why this weak girl must not live, Annabelle concluded. Too fast for Jade to react to, Annabelle snatched her wrist. Jade cried out and tried to pull away, but Annabelle’s grip was like a viper’s. Annabelle threw a strong punch at Jade’s face and let go of her wrist. Jade stumbled and fell backwards onto her rear. She sat in momentary disorientation, and Annabelle took that opportunity to take out the butcher knife hidden in her coat pocket.

The shiny metal snapped Jade out of her daze. Her eyes widened and she let out a blood curling scream. Jade quickly scooted a couple of inches away from Annabelle, but her attempt at escape was stopped short by a parked car in her way. Jade looked back at Annabelle to find her already in front of her. Desperately, Jade grabbed Annabelle’s wrist and pried knife from her fingers. The butcher knife fell to the ground with a clang. Fury radiating off of her, Annabelle slammed her head into Jade’s. Jade howled in pain as Annabelle reached for her knife.

    ReplyDelete
  10. She wrapped her fingers around the butcher knife and swiftly swung the knife at Jade. The metal made a sickening squish as it impaled Jade’s neck. Jade sat there, staring at Annabelle with tears falling down her eyes. Her life was over, like a flame snuffed out. A few sobs came from her throat before she grew completely still and silent. Her eyes continued to stare at Annabelle, but they no longer saw her.

However, Annabelle only felt satisfaction at the completion of her task. Now that Jade was out of the way, Kyle would have to realize how weak Jade was. She wasn’t strong, so she didn’t live. Giggling, Annabelle yanked the glistening red butcher knife out of Jade’s neck. Annabelle practically skipped to the panel on a nearby pillar that controlled the lights. She opened it up and cheerfully pulled out wires until the lights blacked out.

Annabelle felt her way back to the door that led to the hospital. As she opened the door, a single ray of light fell across Jade’s lifeless form. Annabelle gave her a chilling smile and whispered, “Bye Jade.” Annabelle went through the door and closed it, leaving her first victim in darkness once more.

    2. You died because Annabelle hates you and wants your non-existent boyfriend. So yeah, you're dead.

  11. The first murder by John wasn’t really out of the ordinary. Most people thought that it was just a freak accident. Others thought that the victim committed suicide. Oh, how wrong everyone was. The scene was described as very gruesome, and wasn’t really explained much to the public. It was really a month later that the police really picked up the investigation and figured out that the crime was actually a murder. Then the details of how the murder was carried out came in the newspaper. The victim was tied from his hands and feet and hung in the air. His stomach was cut so that the name Sarah was visible. At the time this report came out I thought it was just another one of those psychotic murders. Looking back at that time I should have realized that it was so much more than that.
I tried contacting John the next day to warn him that there was a murderer running free around his town, but to no avail. I took a walk during that same day to John’s house. I went up the steps and knocked on the door. No one answered but the door wasn’t locked. I opened the door slowly, almost like I was walking into a room with a sleeping lion ready to pounce at the first sound he heard. The house was very neat and tidy; the only peculiar thing was that no one was in the house. And it has looked like there hasn’t been someone in the house for a couple of days if not a week. The dust started accumulating on all of the surfaces of the house. I tried calling John’s name but I was just answered with silence.
I began to worry for the well-being of my friend. I thought that he was the next victim of the murder. I tried issuing a missing person to the police but they wouldn’t have it. They were too busy trying to catch the murderer at large. Instead of going home I tried looking for him myself. I walked all around town, except for the very shady places because I was afraid of the murderer as well. I walked in and out of buildings trying to get some answers on where my friend was. I asked countless strangers to see if they had seen John anywhere in the past week.
I entered a building and went up to the third floor of it. It seemed safe to enter so I didn’t hesitate. I got to a window that was over a little alley way. It hung directly across from another building that seemed to have a lot of people in it. I looked at some flickering lights down towards the street. At that moment I knew where I was. I was only and alley’s way across from where that murder had taken place. I turned around slowly to see a person standing in the door. I couldn’t really see his face because he had it covered. But as soon as he turned around he darted at me with a knife in his hand. I looked at him until he was upon me. I closed my eyes waiting for what was about to happen next. I waited there for a couple of seconds. Then I opened my eyes to see that he was gone.

  12. “See ya around, Hemming!” Jude called as his friend left the cancer research fundraiser. He was the last one to leave, packing up in the middle of the night.
“Finally done!” he praised himself as he packed the rest of his belongings into his bag and left the park.
He wasn’t scared. He had walked this route many times before and had lived in New York ever since their family moved after the incident.
“She kidnapped Jane, my best friend. I will raise awareness for kidnapping and find her,” he thought to himself as he turned a corner.
His heavy boots thundered up the cement stairs leading to his apartment complex. The key clicked and the door creaked open. He had just settled down to start reading when the lights went out.
“Hello? Who’s there?” he asked, fear in his words.
The door opened again and a stream of light poured in, just as it had at the garage at his old house. It clicked back in its place and it was dark in the room once again.
“Who’s there!?” he screamed, rising from his seat. Then he heard the unsheathing of a knife and saw the menacing glint of its silver blade in the pitch black room. He immediately sat back down.
He saw the shiny weapon glide around the room as the words, “I wouldn’t get up again if I were you, Brother,” came out from the far corner of the room, near the lamp. It was pushed over and the bulb smashed against the hard-wood floor. Jude flinched in his chair.
“J-Jane?” he managed to get out.
No answer came as the unknown visitor stared at the successful 25 year old. “Oh you don’t know? About your favorite sister?”
He began to tremble as the identity of the intruder began to dawn on him.
“She was killed a few years ago… And I’m getting revenge,” the threatening voice said as the blade drew closer and closer.
“Cindy! I know we didn’t have a good relationship. But-“
“Don’t even bother! You did nothing! You let her do this to me!”
During that last statement, the lights went back on and Cindy showed her face to her brother, the one that brought her the miniscule portions of food every night.
    “I-I’m sorry! But I’ve changed!”
    “No! You haven’t.”
After a pause and a few footsteps closer to her goal, Cindy continued, “What do you think I am?”
After some thinking, he whispered, “My sister.”
“Wrong again! You think I’m a kidnapper! You think I stole her away from you. I know, Jude. You tell them every chance you get of the horrible person I was that did all those things to you. And then I eventually kidnapped her. But I didn’t.”
Jude’s eyes grew wide and watery as the blade grew only a few feet away. “Then why did she tell-“

    ReplyDelete
  13. “Because she hated me! Don’t you get that!? She hated me and loved all of you! She lied to you so that you could grow up hating me! I didn’t steal Jane! She came with me! She helped me escape!” Cindy screamed, clenching the knife so hard that her palms started bleeding from her nails digging into them.
“Cindy…” Jude whispered, reaching his hand out. The knife slashed and a fountain of blood decorated the carpet.
He left out a piercing scream and grabbed his arm as Cindy spoke while looking down.
“Don’t try to act innocent. You may be doing these nice things now. But nothing can make up for what you sued to be. There is nothing you can ever do to make me forgive you.”
The tears began pouring from Jude’s hazel eyes. “I was just a little kid, Cindy!”
“You were older than me! You still are!” Cindy flared, raising her head and letting he black eyes grow wider. She swung the knife again and it cut his shoulder.
He shouted in pain again and the knife cut his flesh another time. But this time, the cut was parallel with the skin and a layer of his tanned flesh fluttered to the ground. The charcoal eyes followed the particle float and then looked back at her brother. His eyes grew as he realized what his sister was intending to do next.
She tackled him to the ground and held both hands above his head. The blade cut another piece from his arm. Then one from his face. Soon little pieces of her brother decorated the floor.
    “Stop! Please!” he pleaded.
    “You never stopped for me!”
    “I’m sorry, Cindy!”
“Don’t say my name!” she roared. Her brother couldn’t get another word out because, out of anger, Cindy slashed his throat with the dulling knife.
She widened her eyes at the fact she just killed her brothe. Then they returned to normal as she remembered that’s what she was aiming to do. She cleaned up the skin pieces as best as she could but left the blood. Then she dragged Jude’s body away in a trash bag to the place she once called home, the garage where they made her become this way.

  14. Scene 2

    Dear Kathy,
I’ve killed again. I can’t seem to stop. I wish you were here to help me get through this but you’ll get into a lot of trouble if they catch you writing to me. But this one definitely asked for it though. I was minding my own business at the mall and I overheard a man talking to his daughter.
“We better leave now or you’re going to get it!” The dad yelled angrily at his daughter
“Dad just relax okay? I never get to go out on my birthday, please dad just a little longer.” The daughter begged
“No! Besides all the clothes you picked out make you look like a whore. We’re going back home now!”
He lifts his hand up and slaps her right across the face. All you hear is a gasp from the whole floor, heads turn to their direction and they immediately leave. The girl left sobbing hysterically but you could tell there was something in her that was about to snap. My guess was that her father treats her like this on a daily basis. I had to follow them.
I started to get to know the family in which this girl lived in. I became obsessed in trying to save her; I wanted her to get out of her misery. I camped out for three days watching closely on how they live. Her dad is an abusive alcoholic on a daily basis. He’s the president of a popular bank, his wife left him and the girl years ago from what I could tell. One night I heard the girl playing the piano. She was amazing, I got goose bumps all over. She was playing The Moonlight Sonata, she played with so much feeling and he had this presence about her. In the middle of her piece she was rudely interrupted by her drunken father. He beat her over and over again, I couldn’t stand to watch anymore of this abuse.
“You better stop playing that music shit or I’ll kill ya!”

The girl didn’t look conscious for a second then she got up and went to her room. I’ve just about had it. It was about three in the morning I get my gear on. I sneak inside and look for this disgusting monster. I found him passed out on the floor; I thought to myself that this was the perfect moment. I slit his wrists and suffocated him, he died slowly and painfully. I wrote his suicide note and it read,

‘I couldn’t handle this life anymore. I’m sorry if I failed anyone but I just couldn’t go on. I will leave everything I own to my daughter Hailey Marie Gardner. I want her to have a stable future in whatever she wants to do with her life. Leave her in the care of her grandparents until she’s 18. I love you Hailey. Goodbye.’

I felt so good after I ended that monsters life. He will no longer ruin little Haileys life. I want her to succeed; now I gave her the opportunity to move on with her life. I call myself The Savior of Dreams.

  15. Jacky grabbed a towel from the closet and dried himself off, getting the last bit of dirt off of his body. Everything was finally ready. He fixed his hair up, put on his makeup and tossed on a black hoodie and skinny jeans. To the world, it was just another football game that Jacky didn’t go to. To Jacky it was Judgment Day. To Lucas, it was his last day.
Jacky walked out the door, not bothering to say goodbye to his parents, and walked the few blocks to the football field.
He could hear the crazed cheers of parents and students nearly a block away. He didn’t have to assume why, he knew his team would be winning. Renford sports were near godly compared to every other team they played. Not because they were good, because everyone else sucked.
Jacky peered out from under the bleachers, looking for his mark. No, no, no…there! Front row, sitting right next to Blake. Shit. There was no way he could get them separated without getting beaten to a pulp. If that happened, the night would be a failure. He would have to wait and see what would happen. For now, beneath the bleachers was his safe haven.
One quarter went by, then the next, then half time, nothing. They didn’t even move!
It was the middle of the third quarter when Blake patted Lucas on the shoulder and got up towards the food stand. Lucas was alone. Well, if you didn’t count the meatheads.
Jacky waited for Blake to be a good distance away before he sprinted around the bleachers and stopped right in front of Lucas.
“Hey, Jacky! What’re you doing here? I thought Emo kids were allergic to footba-”
Jacky decked Lucas and took off. Lucas quickly regained himself, and waved for his merry meatheads to follow him as they sprinted after him. Jacky ran as fast as he could, faster than he’d ever tried to. He hopped a few fences until he made it to an open field, a deserted lot that someone had bought a while back and never done anything with.
    Jacky would change that tonight.
He kept at it, hearing the lacrosse guys closing in on him. He looked around and saw the small discolored patch of grass and ran as fast as he could towards it. Just before his foot touched the patch, he leapt over it, clearing it by mere inches. Lucas, the hard headed jock that he is, disregarded it, his foot thudded against the false ground and he dropped into the ditch Jacky had dug earlier that day.
Jacky grinned as he not only heard something of Lucas’ crack, but also as he watched the merry meatheads tumble in after him. Lucas pounded against the ground and screamed at Jacky.
“Get me outta here, you freak!”
Jacky smirked and reached into his back pocket, pulling out a book of matches and lighting them against his jeans.
“Better get outta here, or you’re next.” Jacky dropped the matches into the ditched and smiled as the gasoline at the bottom ignited.
He walked home to their screams.

  16. The moon was set high against the dark ebony sky. There wasn’t a sound to be heard besides the crickets and rustling of animals digging through the trash. The street lights were flickering and every house’s alarm system was turned on. Out at the end of the street all that could be heard was slow even moving footsteps. All the street laps shut off except for the one right near Rachel’s house. Emerging out of the darkness was Catalina with an emotionless look on her face. She looked up at the house as if examining it for a way to get in. In a swift movement she brought herself up to Rachel’s bedroom window and slipped herself inside. From there she shut off the alarms and glanced over back at Rachel’s sleeping body.
“What will I do with you?” she questioned as a smile crept along her lips. Catalina walked around the room looking for the right object and suddenly found it. The glimmer of the pair of scissor was just to tantalizing to pass up. She moved them over to the counter near the bed and lightly tapped Rachel’s face.
“Wake up Rachel. Come on I need you up it won’t be as fun if you’re sleeping.” Catalina whispered into the darkness. Instantly Rachel opened her eyes and jumped up on her bed. She frantically looked her room scanning every dark corner while sitting on her bed, but nothing was found.
“Maybe it was just a dream?” Rachel laid herself back down and closed her eyes. Just as she felt her body become at ease a hand came over her mouth and the nails dug into her skin. Rachel began to scream, but heard a shushing noise come from the attacker.
“Shhh don’t wake the others up. This is our time to have fun.” Catalina whispers into her ear. Rachel began to cry and create muffled screams. Catalina smacked her face and began to sing to her.
“Come on if you don’t shut up its going to be more painful.” Rachel’s eyes grew big as she began to realize who was in her room. Catalina began to move her hand away from Rachel’s mouth looked at her with a motherly smile.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? GET OUT OF MY ROOM YOU FREAK!” Rachel half yelled at Catalina. Catalina’s face dropped a little and her eyes narrowed on Rachel.
“Well that wasn’t nice now was it?” Catalina now looked at Rachel with confusion and asked “How can something so pretty be so evil? I guess life does have a lot of mysteries.” In an instant Rachel’s mouth was covered and she was tied to her bed posts.
“Now we can begin!” Catalina exclaimed over enthusiastically. She reached over to the scissors and cut off every bit of Rachel’s hair. She then began to scratch lines into her face using the blade slowly spelling out how people felt about her. All over her head and neck you would see the words EVIL, LIAR, PLASTIC, AND B****. To end each word Catalina would underline it. Catalina now looked at the girl who was once known as the evil bully and felt disgusted by her presence.
She scowled at Rachel and spat “You look disgusting” She sighed “I guess I might as well end it now huh?” Catalina pulled a dagger out of her bag and plunged it deep into Rachel’s chest. Next she pulled it across her neck from one side to the other. A muffled scream could be heard from Rachel through this process.

  17. “Oh hush it’s not that bad” Catalina barked at Rachel as she brought the knife into the girl’s chest again and pulled it so every organ could be exposed. Catalina reached into the girl broke her ribcage and pulled out her heart.
“You won’t need this it’s not like you ever used it.” Catalina laughed. A silent whimper was all that left Rachel and within seconds her last breath left her lungs.
“Good night.” Catalina whispered into Rachel’s ear as she slowly closed the body’s eyelids. She slipped out the house and returned to her own still holding the dagger. As she locked her front door she began to sing her song again. She sat in front of her mother’s mirror and sang “Sunrise sunset something isn’t right yet. A person’s born and lives their life, but some don’t do it right. Then karma will come around and knock these bad people down. And I as karma will play this part and remove that soul from their heart. And in the night they will not shake because in the morning they will not wake.” Slowly a smile began to play on the corners of her mouth while she repeated the song through the night.

  18. He turned around in circles trying to find the person that dashed across the park. When he didn’t see anyone he continued forward cautiously. Looking around him every two seconds, to make sure he wasn’t being followed. He continued to walk. He was stepping off the park property when he was tackled to the ground by the boy with the brown hair. When Nick looked up he saw it Was Kanzo, the boy who had tried to hurt Jane.
FINALLY! It took long enough for him to get into a position where I could beat him. Kanzo laughed evilly. He tackled Nick to the ground and rolled back into the park fighting with Nick and trying to keep him down. He was punched in the face by Nick’s broken arm, but even though it was broken, Kanzo was flung off. Nick started to run and pretty soon Kanzo was chasing after him. Nick ran into the forest that was at the edge of the park. He divided under a rock, and thought he was safe, but Kanzo saw him dive under the cave like structure and walked right to him. He pulled Nick out of the cave and held him up with one arm.
“Do you know that your “Girl” could betray you any second and destroy the people you love?!” Kanzo yelled at the top of his lungs. Nicks face was not filled with fear, but more of anger and annoyance that this boy didn’t understand love or kindness. “She won’t. I know with all my heart that she would never betray me no matter what.” Nick said. Kanzo got furious with this comment and threw Nick against the rock.
“No one that believes that has a right to live. ALL THAT IS IN THIS WORLD IS HATE AND ANGER.” Kanzo yelled and pulled a knife from the back of his jeans. “You’ll only get your heart broken if you believe that.” Kanzo said with hate and anger in his voice. Nick could also hear the pain and suffering in his voice. He wanted to help, but right now this guy was about to stab him with a knife. Nick threw his backpack at Kanzo and ran, as hard as his legs could take him. He was jerked to the ground by a cold hearted animal with envy for blood. A shiny knife came down almost on Nicks face, but he dodged it.

  19. This guy has to die! Kanzo thought bitterly. As they were rolling on the ground Kanzo was thinking of all the hate and loneliness that people had caused him and taking it all out Nick. He tried desperately to kill Nick, with fail. He just needed to make up for all the pain, anger loneliness and hatred that the kids had cause Kanzo, he needed to see blood and pain in someone else then he would feel better. Nick cried out in pain. His arm, Kanzo thought. HA! he is weak, he can’t even fight. Kanzo saw the fear in Nick’s eyes as he plunged the knife into the heart of Kanzo. As the knife was cut into him all Nick could think about was Jane, and how she would feel about him dying like this and the words that Kanzo had said to him were true. Because he had loved, his heart was broken, but he thought to himself, as long as he doesn’t hurt anyone else, especial Jane, anymore, it was worth getting my heart broken and dying.
Kanzo stared as the hand that was grabbing his neck fell and any signs of life drained from Nick’s face. This would show Jane, he thought, that love is a cruel thing, and nothing but hurt comes out of it. Kanzo thought that one kill would be enough, but his envy for blood and pain grew and now he wanted more. He wanted to show all the kind people in the world that there is nothing and their kindness will just turn on them. He wanted revenge.

  20. Jeff speedily raced down the sidewalk of this New Orleans street, excitingly turning his head at anything that looked promising to sell bandages for the girl he had just met. He dashed passed many other bystanders on this street, abandoning the courtesy that he was commonly known to possess. There was nothing getting in the way of him being the helpful prince charming for this nameless beauty. He bumped shoulders with a few people that were in his way as he grinned, skipped, jumped and twisted his way through the dark city in pursuit of a single bandage. Suddenly, Jeff bumped into the shoulder of a tall, angry man with a rather angry looking scar on the left side of his face. The name-tag on his suit read “Daniel Brune, sales associate” with the word “Macy’s” engraved under it.
This Daniel Brune, sales associate, did not react in the same manner that all the other impolitely shoved citer-goers did. With cat like reflexes, he turned around and grabbed Jeff by the shirt, nearly picking him off his feet.
“Not this time, soldier!” he screamed.
Jeff’s expression entirely transformed from jolly and youthful to entirely fear-stricken. He was so petrified that the fear was nearly bursting through his skin.
“W-w-w-what?” he asked in confusion, trembling.
“You commies aren’t taking down my new troop! You may have taken the last, you may have given me this scar!” He pointed to the bright red deformation engulfing the entire left half of his face. “With just a little grenade, you took everything I had. My friends, my hope for my life, my entire existence is scarred. But I’m still here, and you’re going to pay for what you’re little friends did to my brothers!” He shouted so loud that Jeff could hardly understand the words being spit in his face. “Come with me, I’ll make this one special.”
Suddenly, the two were no longer in New Orleans, but back in that familiar rainy, Vietnam scene. Jeff, still wearing Billy’s camouflage attire, transformed to a man of his stature with Vietnamese features. The huge, toned soldier puts the scrawny, little man under his arm and trudges through a door only two feet away, which entered a staircase which lead to a secret army base. Throwing Jeff violently down on the floor, potentially breaking his bones, he searched through his closet for a special lock box that seemed to have been untouched for years. He digs a key out of his uniform pocket, opens the box which contained two green grenades, shinning like they were freshly manufactured.
“This is it. This is the end.” He removes the pin from the top of the small device and grunting through his teeth. “This is what my father would’ve wanted, the military ending for his military son.”
The scene changes again, turning into Daniels messy apartment with an exhausted, wincing, moaning Jeff on the floor.
“Good bye Vietnam!” Daniel screamed before throwing the grenade into the floor, instantly exploding, destroying everything in that small apartment and the bodies of the two men who have met their end.

  21. The murder had to be methodically planned and executed. I had left no margin for error. Everything had to be timed perfectly and planned out according to previous arrangements if it was to be a success. I needed to make it seem like it was an accident. I wanted it to seem like Jared Gregors was killed by some unfortunate event that could have happened to anyone. I wanted to make him suffer and feel the pain that I felt when I saw my father being disgraced by the entire community. I saw him humiliated and discredited by all of our neighbors and friends. I know that I must do this for my father. I need to see the fear and guilt in Jared’s eyes before he dies. It is then that I may find some peace.

Jared’s home was deep in steep mountainous terrain with an extensive meandering driveway that had to be navigated through to reach the main road. This was a perfect setting for my revenge. I waited silently and patiently for Jared to arrive home from work. With disgust, I watched him greet his family and children with open arms. I intently watched their faces and witnessed the open admiration and trust clearly expressed. It repulsed me, knowing that the man in which they praised and set on a pedestal was in reality the lowest scum of the earth. With my hatred amplified by the sight, I began to anticipate his death.

To most people, I may seem like a sick, sadistic human being. In fact, there have been many moments when I have regretted this path of revenge, but I quickly eliminate that way of thinking. This choice requires no moral standards or guidelines. It is for this reason that I have essentially turned off my humanity to allow me to complete my revenge without remorse.

As Jared and his family went inside, I stealthily crept up the driveway towards his parked car. My mission was to sever the brake lines of the car. I performed the task quickly and efficiently. Now all I had to do was wait until the next morning when Jared would go to work.

When morning finally arrived, I went to Jared’s home and waited for him in my car in a secluded area where I could not be seen. The sun had not yet risen in the sky. The air was quiet and cool. The birds had yet to start singing. It was tranquil and calm; the exact opposite of the feelings and emotions that were brewing inside my head. Anger and frustrations made my body rigid with tense. I knew that I needed to stay calm and collected but my blood boiled with the eagerness that my plan of revenge would soon be carried out.

I watched as Jared pulled out of his semi-circular driveway. He began to descend down the hill as I followed him from a safe distance behind. As I had predicted, he realized his brakes were failing to work, and he lost control midway down the isolated road. I watched with relish how he struggled to maintain control. After some great effort, his car smashed violently into one of the thick, strong deciduous trees that lined the road.

  22. Post continued...
I parked my car a few yards away and went to see the kind of damage that I had inflicted. The car was severely crushed in the front as it had wrapped around the tree. I could see that the airbags had deployed and were slowly losing volume as tree branches punctured small holes in them. I peered inside and smelt burning metal and exhaust fumes. Jared was bleeding profusely from a head wound and appeared to be experiencing serious pain in his lower abdomen. I waited patiently until he noticed me. When he finally turned his head, a look of surprise crossed his face.

“Diana! What are you doing here? Can you call 911?”
“I’m just watching you suffer for a little bit. To answer your second question, I most definitely cannot call 911,” I replied bitterly.
“I’m not sure I understand….,” Jared’s expression frustrated me. How could he not know the reason for my desire to see him in pain?
“I think you do understand. Think hard. If you can’t, I will just tell you. I want you to suffer pain because you betrayed my father. How could you do that! He was your friend. This is why you deserve this; this is why you deserve to die.”

The words came out through clenched teeth as my anger strengthened. Unable to even wait for his response, I retrieved a broken sharp branch from the ground and plunged it through his chest. In a moment, I knew he was dead. My first act of revenge was finally complete. I felt empowered by his death. I hungered for more.

  23. After seeing this, Vivian clenched her fist tight, and Amy, who stood next to her, could see Vivian’s nerves popping out from her skin. What Vivian hated the most was disposing them after using them.
“When’s the hunting?” Vivian asked through her gritting teeth.
“Tomorrow at seven, since it’s when Krutz leaves his house. Um, V, should we help the assistant? I think Krutz will kill him soon, “questioned Amy.
“No, leave him be. Since he wanted to work with the devil, he should be prepared for the hell fire that follows,” Vivian replied.
Even if the assistant didn’t directly kill the people, he should be punished for not reporting what Krutz did, no matter what his reason was. This ended their conversation and each went to their own room. Since there was not a guest room in the apartment, Vivian shared a room with Amy. The girls went back to their room and Vivian unpacked her cloths and weapons for the next day’s killing. They spend the rest of their day like normal teenagers, with movies, talks, and foods.
The next morning, at six, the three woke up and got prepared. Vivian dressed like how she normally would on a hunt, with a red dress, black leggings and a pair of black leather boots. She hid her daggers and gun in her boots. She put her hair in a half pony tail. Amy dressed in similar fashion, but with her hair all down. Trace dressed in all black, with a black hoodie, black jeans, and a pair of black and white sneakers. They left the house and went on Trace’s car. On the car, the three young adults put on their white circular mask, with a red spider lily on the upper right corner.

  24. They dropped Vivian off at an alleyway that was predicted to be Krutz’s escape route. Then, Amy and Trace went to track Krutz down. They followed Krutz’s car until it was near the alleyway. Then, Amy moved her head and her hand out the window with the gun and shot through the tires of Krutz’s car. Trace did the same with his side. The bodyguards came out dressed in black, all ready to fight. They were not as fast as the twins though. Immediately, when the bodyguards had taken their first step out the car, Amy aimed her gun and shoo, one down. It was the same with the rest of the bodyguard. In a blink of an eye, there were already six bodies on the ground. Trace saw Krutz coming out of the opened front car door and went into the predicted alleyway.
He sprinted for three minute after he entered the alleyway, not knowing that when he entered the alley, he already walked into Vivian’s trap. Standing above the concrete houses, Vivian could see perfectly on where Krutz was running. She jumped from the building landed right in front of Krutz.
    “Move!” screamed Krutz.
“Thomas Krutz. Age forty-two. CEO of the T.O.P Association. Since the formation of the company, you have donated a total of two million dollars to the rural areas in Africa. Five years ago, you started kidnapping people all around America, and illegally selling their organs for personal profit. You stopped for an year between 2010 and 2011. You resumed this year after the case cooled down for the police. This year, you killed a man named Tyler Willows and sold his lungs and liver. You also killed two of your men who failed to carry out their assignment perfectly,” Vivian reported.
“Who are you?” Krutz questioned with his eyes wide opened.
“You do not need to know that, and don’t you run either.”
Hearing this, Krutz turned around and ran with his life on the line, but before he turned the corner, Vivian took out her gun and bam went the first shot to Krutz’s right knee and bam went the second shot to Krutz’s left knee. Even after he got two bullets in his knees, Krutz still attempted to crawl away. Vivian took her time and walked nonchalantly to Krutz. On the way, she slid her gun back into her boots, and took you the two daggers.
“You committed a total of twenty-two crimes, deserving a total of twenty-two cuts, “said Vivian.
After saying that, she started to make slices on Krutz’s body and face. During the process, Vivian was not afraid; she has been doing that for many years already. Through the two openings on the mask, a person can see that Vivian’s beautiful pair of eyes had already turned into upside-down crescent moons. Below the mask, a smile was playing on her lips. It was a joy for Vivian to see people get what they deserved.
Vivian made a total of five cuts on his chest, four on his right arm, six on her left arm, and six on his face. To finish up, Vivian whispered in Krutz’s right ear, “I hope you good luck on the rest of your journey… in the afterworld.” With that said, she made one final cut to Krutz’s neck. Rosy red blood started to prickle out, ending his life, once and for all.
“Aw, you’re all done. I wanted to have some fun,” Amy commented behind Vivian, with Trace following her.
Vivian just smiled and said, “You should’ve come faster. I’ll leave the next target to you if you want to.”
“No need, I could get a prey for myself.”
    “Be tha-“
    Wooom, the police car went.
“Shoot, we should go. I don’t know about you two, but I don’t want to go to jail yet,” Trace interrupted.
The three went on their feet and ran. Within a minute, they were by their car again. To those who read this story, pass this on. Never do bad things because the spider lilies will hunt you down and remind you of the crimes you did before you die, just like how in the legend, they are said to recall the memories of those going into the underworld.

  25. Amanda walked out of the her restaurant after working a double-shift that evening in a sort of a daze that most of us would feel after doing what she does. She had gone through a twelve hour shift that was littered with nothing but drunks at the bar and tip less hours of waitressing. It was a miserable job but one that she had to endure.
She was walking to her car. She parked unreasonably far away for a worker because she was ashamed of the broken down Chevrolet that she drove to work. That was the type of person she was. She was a hard worker that was rarely rewarded for her efforts.
But half way to her car she realized that she had forgot to punch out. So she turned around with intent to fix her mistake by returning to the restaurant and releasing her tie to her restaurant. But when she turned she immediately hit a wall. However, once she realized that it wasn’t an actual wall she was instantaneously petrified. She looked up and saw only a man the size of Shaquille O’Neil with a mask over his face. She could only make out a few things about his appearance. He had a large scar stretching from his ear all the way down to his Adams apple. And he was holding a knife.
He grabbed her and told her to shut up. He pulled over to behind her car and began to stab her repeatedly. She was gasping for air, tearing at his arms but it was all for naught. He stopped stabbing and she stopped breathing. The deed was done and innocent Amanda will now forever be known as this man’s first victim.

  26. As they were on their way back to the camp site the killer started to follow them but no one knew except Jen. So he grabbed Jen from behind covering her mouth so she won’t make a sound. Everyone was still acting the same but, than Tabby realized that Jen was speaking so they all started to search for her in groups. While they were looking for her, the killer was dragging her by her head and her legs are sliding on the floor.
He got her into the room where he kills people and started to chain her up with her arms and legs spread apart. He used a spoon to cut her eye out, he would bang on her head with a wooden spoon, and then he would cut her open with a knife. He then started to clean the insides of her so that he can put a light her in her and she would start to glow. He was taking pictures of her, Jens head was down, only had one eye and her stomach was glowing.
Tabby and Maria were scared so they just went back to the camp site and they boys were still looking, it started to get dark and the boys couldn’t see anything so they went back to the camp site to comfort the girls. The next morning they all decided to stay close to the camp in case Jen was going to come back, so they went to the lake that was near their camp site.
Luis didn’t want to go to the lake and swim, so he stayed in the camp just relaxing. He heard a sound but thought it was just his friends coming to the tent to get something. He had his eyes closed and the killer came and started to smash his face with his hand. He kept punching him till he was dead. Then he left a note with Luis’s blood warning the others to leave or else. No one heard anything coming from the tent. So the killer dragged his body to the back of his house and took pictures of Luis dead, and then put him with the rest of the bodies, in the lake. It was the same lake that the others were swimming in but they didn’t know.
After an hour of swimming Maria found the note and told the others. Everyone had no idea what to do. It was either go and find their friends or just leave them and save themselves. So they left the woods and went down to the police station and told them everything that happened. The police didn’t believe them, so they just told them to go home and enjoy the rest of their spring break. After that the police man went to block off the road that would lead to the woods, while he was doing that he saw the killer but didn’t know what it was. He went to go check out what it was and the killer got the police man from behind and cracked his neck and just dragged him to the back of the killer’s house. The police man or the police car was never to be found.
