Loop Poetry is a poetry form created by Hellon. There are no restrictions on the number of stanzas nor on the syllable count for each line. In each stanza, the last word of the first line becomes the first word of line two, last word of line 2 becomes the first word of line 3, last word of line 3 becomes the first word of line 4. This is followed for each stanza. The rhyme scheme is abcb. Write 3 poems by the end of the period.
If everyone was happy
Happy as can be
The world would be a better place
Place for everyone to be free
Birds fly as they please
Please do not get in their way
Way of doing this is
Is to stay on the ground all day
To read is to gain knowledge
Knowledge one will keep forever
Forever prospering and understanding
Understanding what it takes to be clever.
Dance every day

Pollution and anger has become a way of life
Life is not what it used to be, there is a solution
Solution is a word that has become a puzzle to many
Many don’t even bother to learn
Learn? Do they know what that means?
Means to learn and look? They just want to watch the world burn.
Watch a bird soar and see what you’ll pick up
Up high in the sky is the only way to fly
Fly to where you’ll be free
Free as the rivers run, just make sure to say good-bye.
Bye to all your loved ones and people who care for you
You are loved by so many, but freedom still nags at your mind.
Mind you that you should follow your heart
Heart is something we all have, but especially those who are brave and kind.
I have seen my future in the eyes of the wise
Wise eyes have shown me that I will be happy
Happy as the sun that shines through
Through the clouds that are sad and snappy
Snappy clouds birth snappy people
People will not bring me down
Down to their level, no, I am happy here

As we play cards, he consistently thinks that he can beat me
As I trash him and trash him, why can’t he see….that even if he practices he will never ever ever ever ever be able to beat a funny man like me.
He needs to open his eyes and see the game for what it really is…. As much as we play every day he comes and he stays at the lunch table just to get beat In everyway
Maybe I don’t understand or maybe he doesn’t understand that this game of pallis I does this every day.

“Me” is the one person I should care about the most.
Most of my patience is wasted on what I no longer see.
You promise so much more than you portray.

Mean what you say; stop lying, please.
Please realize that I don’t care for words as much I care for what is seen.
You only give me false hope.
Hope that elevates me, hope that makes my heart beat.
